What made you start CrossFit?
I’ve been an athlete in some way my entire life. Once I called a quits on rugby and powerlifting, I turned my focus to coaching for a few years but something was still missing. I was bitten by the “iron bug” you could say, at the age of 14 when lifting weights was introduced to me through sports. I have been a fan of and studied all the lifting sport like powerlifting, bodybuilding, strongman, Olympic lifting and CrossFit. I woke up one day and asked myself why the heck have I not tried a CrossFit class yet? I attended my first class the next day and have been hooked ever since.

What do you enjoy about SLSC?
SLSC sets the standard on the expectations of what an outstanding training facility should strive for. The coaching, programming, community are all amazing. From day one I felt genuine interactions from coaches, managers and other members.
What do you enjoy about coaching?
Empowering others through the service of physical training while also touching on mental and emotional factors in our growth as well. A coach is a lifelong student and a guide to others. As the circle of motivation goes around and around, my job is to guide and motivate others, and while these great people work hard and get better it motivates me to be the best I can be for them. And the cycle continues.
