I was recently on WGN Radio 720 in Chicago with Matt Bubala.
Fortunately, I'd been practicing my verbal chops on the SLSC podcast, so I was "radio ready."
I did a short interview – ostensibly on the benefits of CrossFit training, particularly for people interested in starting a new fitness program in the New Year – but the discussion actually ended up focusing on the psychology of food choices, motivation, and not just on getting started with a new program, but how to set yourself up for success over the long haul.
And, if you've been coaching people for any amount of time, you've probably realized that these so-called "human" elements have a lot more to do with the results that your clients achieve than just the program that you write for them.
